The conversion of an eighteenth century estate building at the Hurst in Shropshire, for the Arvon Foundation.
Ten new study bedrooms, a performance space, and full refectory facilities were provided for students attending residential writing courses at the Hurst.
The challenge of achieving full accessibility within this historic building was met by the provision of a modern, timber clad extension creating a new entrance at first floor level and housing a passenger lift.
