The conversion of a Listed nineteenth century barn on a former Duke of Bedford Estate Farm near Tavistock, to create a distinctive modern home.

New elements make use of contemporary materials to contrast and compliment original historic features, which include a waterwheel contained within an attached wheelhouse, and brick arches supported by granite columns within a sun-trap courtyard garden. The accommodation amounts to approximately 4,000sq ft, and is largely open-plan to exploit top lighting and allow volume and space to flow throughout the building.
