This project involved the conversion of a large stone barn in West Devon. The barn is located in a prominent location on the top of a hill with fantastic views over the Devon countryside.
The conversion exploits this amazing view with the main living area located on the first floor. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms are housed on the ground floor and a mezzanine and additional bathroom have been created at the very top of the building. All these spaces are connected via an oak staircase with glazed balustrading to a contemporary design that contrasts with and complements the traditional materials and forms of the historic stone building.
