The complete remodelling and internal refit of this small museum in Okehampton, including improvements to provide accessibility for people of all abilities.
The former mill buildings were provided with a new passenger lift, and existing storage spaces were converted to create a new events gallery. An infill extension created a new entrance for large exhibits and provided a link between the existing building and the new gallery.
This project was supported by the European Regional Development Fund, the Heritage Lottery Fund, West Devon Borough Council and Dartmoor National Park.
