The complete refurbishment and modernisation of a Grade II Listed house near Tavistock.
We were able to convince the West Devon Borough Council Conservation Officer that it would be appropriate to enlarge the existing accommodation by introducing a largely glazed, single storey extension.
The marked contrast between new and old ensured that the historic value of the property remained clearly legible, whilst the additional garden room greatly increased the flexibility of the living spaces and improved the connection between the house and the landscape.
